LDTD - Laser Desorption Thermal Ionisation

Laser Desorption Thermal Ionisation "LDTD" - Analysis at the Speed of Light on any MS

LDTD uses a high energy laser to desorb sample from a specially designed micro-plate called Lazwell. The silvered wells allow rapid heat transfer to the sample, causing them to eject rapidly into the MS source. The speed of this process can be as fast as 4 secs/sample although typical applications normally allow around 12 secs/sample and this means a microplate can be processed in around 20min.

LDTD also comes in a 384 well version and the instrument can accept up to 10 plates in a magazine, allow up to 3840 samples to be analysed per batch. To download a brochure click here.

If you would like to evaluate the LDTD for your samples, we can have them run at the Phytronix facility in Quebec.

From your sample preparation plate to the Lazwellplate…as easy as that
